Who is responsible for your data?
90 Away is a project run by Kiliann Vincent, Joris Bamouni and Nicolas Fatton. No company has been incorporated yet. Together, they manage this waiting list and any requests relating to it.
The shared contact address is [email protected]. Messages are forwarded to the project’s Gmail inbox. This page will be updated when a company is incorporated or the people responsible change.
What we use and why
| Data | Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Email address and sign-up choice | Save your place, send the welcome email and share launch updates. | Your consent, given by ticking the box on the form. |
| Site language and form used (homepage or ticket) | Send the welcome email in your chosen language and manage your signup. | Your consent to join the waiting list. |
| Sign-up date and technical records, delivery and unsubscribe status | Manage the list, record your choice, deliver messages and honour withdrawals of consent. | Your consent for the waiting list; our legitimate interest in managing and securing it. |
| Technical connection and browser information | Block automated sign-ups and protect the form with Cloudflare Turnstile. | Our legitimate interest in preventing abuse. |
| The messages you send us | Answer your questions and handle requests about your data. | Our legitimate interest in responding and, for requests to exercise your rights, our legal obligations. |
To keep a record of your consent, we store your signup date, the date and version of your consent, the language and the first form you used. These details stay linked to your signup for the periods set out below.
Once your signup is accepted, a welcome email is sent in the site’s language. There is no separate email asking you to verify your address. An address already on the list does not receive another welcome email with every signup attempt.
Your email address and consent are required to join the list. You can browse the website without signing up. We do not sell your contact details or share them with partners for their own marketing.
This page covers the promotional website and its waiting list. Information about data used by the future app will be provided separately before you use it.
Who can access your data?
Authorised members of the project and the providers needed to run the service:
- Brevo manages sign-ups, email delivery and unsubscribes. Brevo states that it hosts its databases in the European Union. Data storage at Brevo.
- Cloudflare protects the form with Turnstile, receives signup data through a Worker and forwards it to Brevo. The Worker does not create a separate database. Turnstile uses signals such as your IP address and technical browser characteristics to detect bots. Cloudflare also routes messages sent to [email protected]. Turnstile privacy information.
- Google / Gmail receives messages sent to the team. It is not used as the waiting list database. Google’s privacy information.
Cloudflare and Google services may involve processing outside the European Economic Area. Their policies describe the countries involved and the safeguards for these transfers, including standard contractual clauses or, where applicable, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. You can contact us for more information about the safeguards that apply.
How long do we keep your data?
Waiting list data is kept until six months after the app launches, with a maximum of three years from your sign-up date, or until you withdraw your consent if you unsubscribe sooner.
After you unsubscribe, only the information needed to honour your objection and record your choice is kept separately, for a maximum of three years after withdrawal. It is no longer used to send you launch updates.
Messages exchanged with the team are kept while your request is being handled, then for a maximum of twelve months after it is closed, unless evidence needs to be retained for a dispute or a legal obligation.
Cookies, statistics and spam protection
The site has no advertising tools or audience trackers in your browser. Cloudflare hosts and protects the site and provides aggregate traffic statistics: requests, data volume and errors. We use them to operate and secure the site, without adding analytics cookies or tracking individuals through our code. Photos, videos and fonts are served with the site. Your browser may remember the last photo shown to avoid repeats.
Turnstile loads when you start using a form that is open for signups. Verification also takes place on the server before your details are saved in Brevo. Turnstile pre-clearance is disabled for this setup.
Agreeing to receive our updates does not mean agreeing to individual tracking of email opens and clicks. Brevo is configured not to carry out this individual tracking without that consent. Technical delivery information and statistics not linked to your profile may still be used to run the service.
Your choices and rights
You can withdraw your consent at any time using the “Unsubscribe” link in our emails, or by writing to [email protected]. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.
You can request access to your data, its correction or erasure, restriction of processing and, where applicable, data portability. You can object to processing based on our legitimate interests. To handle a request, we may ask only for the information necessary to verify your identity.
We normally respond within one month. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority.
